Sticky Fingers Singer Escorted Out Of Pub After Verbal Altercation

Sticky Fingers frontman Dylan Frost was escorted out of a Sydney pub in the early hours of Thursday morning, following a verbal altercation.

In a report by The Australian, transgender model and writer Alexandra V Tanygina shared that a verbal altercation occurred between herself and Frost in the poker machine room at Kelly's On King in Newtown.

The incident comes just one month after Sticky Fingers' appearance on triple j's Hack program, where they addressed recent controversies and their year-and-a-half long hiatus.

"Dylan was a million per cent intoxicated, he was absolutely wasted," Tanygina told the publication. 

It's reported that after persistent comments, Frost allegedly called Tanygina "crazy" after asking him to be quiet. Tanygina then reported that she told Frost "at least I’m not a racist and my career isn't over."

It's reported that "Frost responded by screaming at her that he hated transgender feminists, that he couldn’t be sexist because his mother was a feminist and he couldn’t be racist because he was Maori," followed by retorts that she was a "floozy" and "bitch". 

Tanygina continued to say that Frost "basically asked me if I wanted to fight" and that security soon escorted Frost from the venue following the bartender's request.

A representative for the band has shared that "Dylan was in the pokies room after spending some time with a friend" and left when he was asked. 

A full statement responding to the incident was issued to both The Music and The Australian, as follows:

"Dylan was in the pokies room after spending some time with a friend. As he was leaving he was approached and verbally attacked by a stranger and called a racist. Dylan said it was bull shit and to leave him alone. She continued to harass him, and her friend then joined in and threatened him and Dylan told him to fuck off. The manager noticed there was tension and asked them to leave, which Dylan did."
