Sydney rockers Stand Atlantic have announced a massive East Coast Australian tour, hitting theatres with special guests Sly Withers and VANA.
The tour announcement follows the release of their empowering, fiery new single, GIRL$, featuring PVRIS and Spanish star Bruses, which is set to encourage the opening of mosh pits.
Taking place in August, the forthcoming tour is a quick one.
Starting at Melbourne’s Forum on Wednesday, 28 August, Stand Atlantic and friends will then head to Sydney’s Roundhouse (Friday, 30 August) and end the run at Brisbane’s Fortitude Music Hall on Saturday, 31 August. Tickets go on sale tomorrow (12 April) at 10 am AEST. Find tickets via the band’s website.
On Friday, 23 August, Stand Atlantic will release their new album, Was Here. In addition to GIRL$, the album features collaborations with Sueco and Polaris. You can pre-order the album here or pre-save it to your streaming library here.
Commenting on today’s tour announcement, singer Bonnie Fraser said, “It feels like it’s been forever since we were able to showcase a proper headline show in the motherland of Australia.

“This tour is going to be something absolutely special and unique. It’ll be the biggest rooms we have ever headlined, and we’re excited to put the biggest show of our lives to fit. We can’t wait for you to join us!”
While Stand Atlantic’s fourth album is coming soon, Fraser had another exciting moment in October when she and members of Polaris and Between You & Me collaborated with Linkin Park’s Mike Shinoda.
Together, Shinoda and his Aussie supergroup performed his song, Already Over, as well as a Linkin Park classic, Bleed It Out, in which Fraser let rip during Chester Bennington’s iconic screamed verse.
She said about the opportunity to work with Mike Shinoda, “When I got the call, the imposter syndrome hit me so hard I almost backed out. I am so grateful and honoured to have been asked by Mike to collaborate on this project! He was an absolute sweetheart, and I was pinching myself the whole time that I got to be in the same room, let alone playing the same song with a legend.”
