Olympia released her second album, 'Flamingo', earlier this year and here, she shares a video (set to new track 'Easy Pleasure') and summary of the recent European tour.
Easy Pleasure - a song about the path of least resistance.
On the whole album, this is the song that shows the point of transformation. Someone in between states, walking along a busy street at night, but not feeling part of it. It’s the point of slipping away.
We actually recorded all the lyrics spoken as well as sung under the main vocals. It was the most embarrassed I’ve ever been in the studio. I made Burke turn the lights off and not look at me while I whispered into the microphone like some strange and aggressive story time. A treat for good headphones.
We are currently (mis)managing our jet lag after an incredible European tour. I honestly just don’t want to come down.
It was so great to connect with fans of the work across the UK and Europe. We shot a video in Paris, and were invited to play David Lynch’s private bar smack bang in the middle of Paris. It took all the strength I had not to ramble incorrectly about Mulholland Drive.
It went much better than when I spotted Peter Garrett at one of our shows.

We survived Amsterdam... the worst to have occurred was watching a dog lick clean our cutlery in a dishwasher. We are divided as to whether this is bad or not. The dog was cute, and we continued to eat thereafter.
Our shows in Germany were electric, packed and sweaty. I may have cleared bars with my jukebox selections, but our shows were unbelievable.
Needless to say, we are so excited to be hitting the east coast of Australia starting this Friday and can’t wait for you to be part of this.
