Get your mates together, pin the addy, and save the date—Spilt Milk is launching a series of House Party events for your November.
While this series is more intimate than the usual 30,000+ festival version of Spilt Milk, organisers certainly aren’t compromising the lineup: Major UK indie group Glass Animals, English sad boy Artemas, and Australia’s own rush-seeker Troye Sivan. Among these legends, we will also see Brissy gal Sycco, who has recently released her debut album Zorb, as well as singer-drummer extraordinaire G Flip.
The news comes as a substitute for Spilt Milk cancelling their annual festival amidst the live music crisis.
“Sorry pookies, we couldn’t get you the Spilt Milk you deserve this year. Sooo imma dip for a bit and come back when I can make all ur dreams come true. I miss u xx,” they posted online in July.
While fans were disappointed, the rate of festival cancellations across the country, including heavyweights such as Splendour In The Grass, Groovin The Moo and more certainly didn't come as a surprise.
Advertised as a simulacrum of our nostalgic Aussie high school days, Spilt Milk’s House Party series wants to see you party like a teenager with little parental supervision: “We’ve moved all the furniture around to make extra room, but tix will still be pretty limited so sign up to presale if you’re keen.”

The House Party series will take over Perth’s Kings Park & Botanic Garden on November 17th before heading east to Broadwater Parklands at the Gold Coast on November 23rd. The last House Party will take place at the Newcastle Entertainment Centre on 24th November.
For those wanting cheeky mates rates, presale will go on sale at 10 AM local time next Wednesday (September 11th) and is available to access via the website’s sign-up form. ANZ cardholders also have exclusive access to their own round of presale tickets via the ANZ website, available from 10 AM on September 12th. For those still waiting for mum’s approval, the General Sale will be available on Friday, September 13th, from 10 AM.
