Something For Kate are Queenscliff bound this November, headlining the Victorian favourite music festival on Friday, 24 November.
Before they head for the coast, however, the Aussie rock trio will host a unique, intimate warm-up show at one of their favourite venues, Melbourne’s iconic Corner Hotel.
“MELBOURNE CORNER HOTEL WARM UP SHOW,” Something For Kate wrote on Facebook this morning (4 October).
“Something For Kate will headline at Queenscliff Music Festival this November, but to get themselves warmed up, they'll be playing a special, intimate show at Corner Hotel the night before. The band are excited to play at one of their favourite venues, Corner Hotel on Thursday November 23.”
Tickets to the band’s warm-up show go on sale on Friday, 6 October, at noon via the Something For Kate website.

The tour celebrated Something For Kate’s 2020 release, The Modern Medieval, for the first time and commemorated 20 years since the release of their seminal LP Echolalia.
“We’ve been unable to tour The Modern Medieval since its release last year, and along with Echolalia turning 20 this year, we wanted to find a way to celebrate both albums, so we decided to play two sets a night. We’ll be our own support band!” Something For Kate said in a statement.
“One set will feature Echolalia in full, and the other set will be made up of songs from The Modern Medieval plus a mix of other favourites. This will be a rare and unique Something For Kate tour. We can’t wait for these very special shows.”
