Tickets are on sale next week.
Melbourne Snow Patrol fans are in for a treat, with a special one-off show announced today.
After announcing their headline slot at Sydney's Air & Style festival a few weeks back, the band will return to Melbourne's Palais Theatre in early August.
Tickets go on sale Fri 25 May, the same day the band's new album, Wildness, drops.
"There are many types of wildness, but I think it can be distilled into two: the wildness of the modern age, all its confusion, illogic and alienation and a more ancient wildness," said frontman Gary Lightbody of the album.

"Something primal, alive and beautiful that speaks to our true connectivity, our passion, our love, our communion with nature and each other. This is the kind of wildness the album is centred around. The loss of it. Trying to reconnect with it. To remember it."
The band will be working with Ticketmaster Verified Fan, a system that verifies fans before the 23 May pre-sale to ensure that scalpers and bots aren't taking tickets away from fans. Find out more about the registration process here.
