"I'm gonna find your ass, I'm gonna beat your ass"
Pop rockers Smash Mouth really don't like things thrown at them, with the Californian band's lead singer Steve Harwell losing his head over someone throwing bread at him while on stage at the Taste Of Fort Collins food festival in Colorado.
A local Colorado paper notes that the food festival were giving away loaves of bread; bread that some punters really wanted Harwell and the gang to taste, we're guessing.
Harwell was having none of it, spewing into a violent tirade with fans continuing to cheer and the band playing a jaunty bass line behind him.
"I'm going to find your ass, I'm going to beat your ass, wherever the fuck you are. You want to be a badass? Come up here. Walk your bad ass up here.

"I will tell you right now I will beat the fuck out of you. You're a pussy punk bitch. We're playing a show for thousands of people right now and I'm going to walk off stage and guess what? You're paying for it, motherfucker. Throw one more thing at me, right now, and I'm going to find you."
Harwell then actually tries to get off the stage and into the crowd before being led back onstage, presumably by management.
Trying to lighten the mood, the band awkwardly try to blend the tirade into a rendition of 1999's All Star.
But who can blame the crowd? They just wanted to offer Smash Mouth a taste of Fort Collins.
