Slumberjack have revealed that they’re playing three East Coast Australian shows, but haven’t shared the dates or venues—it’s a secret.
The Generations tour will see Slumberjack host raves in a warehouse in Melbourne, a cinema in Sydney, and a theatre in Brisbane to showcase the music on their forthcoming EP.
Announcing the move on Instagram, the Perth duo wrote in a Notes app post, “Not giving away any dates yet, but drop your number or email at the link in our bio, and we’ll hit you back with a code for the pre-sale. UNDERGROUND tour last year fully sold out so get on it”.

Surprise shows seem to be all the rage, with Fred again..’s recent Australia and New Zealand tour dominated by secret gigs and surprise announcements on social media.
Sometimes, he wouldn’t even announce a show but would leave hints on Instagram Stories or Discord, leading fans to go wild and try to find each secret destination ahead of time.

Since 2023, Slumberjack have released a string of solid singles, including Reptiles, Bodymorph, Uh Uh, Python, and more, before releasing To Be Loved and Back Again this year.
Their most recent longer release is Distillation Mix Vol 8, which you can listen to on Soundcloud. The Distillation Mix installations, which are packed with remixes and other musical ideas, first began in December 2019.
In December 2020, Slumberjack signed a global publishing deal with BMG. “We’ve always had BMG in our sights, so we’re very happy to finally be able to work together,” Slumberjack commented in a statement.
The President of BMG Australia, Heath Johns, added, “Slumberjack are a leading force in Australian electronic music and on behalf of the BMG team, I’m so pleased to announce this global publishing deal with them.”
