Slipknot To Celebrate 25th Anniversary With Knotfest Australia 2025 Headline Spot

Slipknot will celebrate their 25th anniversary by headlining Knotfest Australia in 2025.

Making the announcement 12 months ahead of time, Slipknot, the festival, and promoters Destroy All Lines revealed that if you’re attending this year’s edition of Knotfest Australia, you will receive an exclusive first run of tickets to Knotfest 2025. Those tickets will be available before all other pre-sales.

The line-up for Knotfest Australia 2025 – headlined by Slipknot – will be revealed later this year.

This year’s line-up for Knotfest Australia is not headlined by its founders but a rejuvenated version of American groove metal pioneers Pantera. They’ll be joined by co-headliners Disturbed, a chart-topping modern heavy metal band beloved by fans across the globe.

In addition to the co-headliners, Knotfest Australia has brought out influential heavy metal act Lamb Of God, the Lzzy Hale-led rock band Halestorm, Aussies SPEED, Windwaker, King Parrot and Thy Art Is Murder.

The festival has also locked in the popular Mongolian band The HU, and additional international groups Asking Alexandria, Wage War, Skindred, Brand Of Sacrifice, and Escape The Fate.

Knotfest Australia is going ahead next week, with the event kicking off on Thursday, 21 March, at Melbourne’s Flemington Racecourse (now welcoming punters over the age of 12) before heading to Sydney’s Centennial Park on Saturday, 23 March (18+), and Brisbane Showgrounds on Sunday, 24 March on Sunday, 24 March (15+).

Festival organisers recently revealed the set times for this year’s event, continuing with Knotfest’s renowned two-stage, clash-free setup. The set times were shared after several acts on the line-up, including Lamb Of God and Halestorm, announced a string of sideshows.

The inaugural Knotfest Australia – all three dates of which sold out in advance – featured headlining sets from Slipknot themselves, as well as Parkway Drive and Megadeth. 11 other bands rounded out the full line-up, including international heavyweights like Trivium, Amon Amarth, In Flames, Knocked Loose and Spiritbox, plus local legends like Northlane, Alpha Wolf and Void Of Vision.
