Simple Plan Announce April 2024 Australian Tour

In April 2024, Simple Plan will return to Australia for the first time since their Good Things Festival run in December 2019.

Touring with special guests and fellow pop-punk icons Boys Like Girls and We The Kings, Simple Plan’s 2024 Australian tour begins on Sunday, 7 April, at Perth’s Metro City, followed by the Adelaide Entertainment Centre (Tuesday, 9 April), Melbourne’s Margaret Court Arena (Thursday, 11 April), Sydney’s Hordern Pavilion (Saturday, 13 April), and ends at Brisbane’s Fortitude Music Hall on Sunday, 14 April.

You can register for the Early Bird pre-sale here, which goes on sale on Wednesday, 11 October, at 9 am local time. The general ticket on-sale begins on Friday, 13 October, at 9 am local time via the Destroy All Lines website.

$1 from each ticket sold will be donated to the Simple Plan Foundation, the band’s charity that focuses on assisting young people in need and using the power of music to help them find purpose in life. Since its formation in 2005, the Simple Plan Foundation has raised over $2 million to various charitable causes in Canada.

“We’re so happy to announce that we’re finally coming back to Australia in April 2024,” Simple Plan said in a press release. “The last time we played down under was way back in 2019 for the Good Things Festival, so it’s been way too long, and we are way overdue for a visit in one of our absolute favourite places in the world.

“We love this country and our Aussie fans so much, and we couldn’t be more excited to have the chance to perform in Perth, Adelaide, Melbourne, Sydney and Brisbane. We’re playing some amazing venues, and we know these shows are gonna be heaps of fun!”

The band continued, “We’re also really thrilled to bring some incredible bands and artists with us. Joining the tour are the super-talented Boys Like Girls and our great friends, We The Kings! This tour line-up is stacked, and we know these shows will be unforgettable. We hope to see you there!”

On Friday, 20 October, Boys Like Girls will release their first album in 11 years, Sunday At Foxwoods, following a return from hiatus in 2016. You can pre-order/pre-save the album here.

We The Kings’ most recent single, Everything Else Can Wait, landed in July 2023. Singles have followed the release of their most recent album, Six, in 2018.
