SBS Network Reveals 2024 NAIDOC Week Programming
This year’s NAIDOC Week takes place from Sunday, 7 July to Sunday, 14 July.

The SBS Network has unveiled its massive NAIDOC Week program for 2024, exploring the theme, Keep the Fire Burning! Blak, Loud and Proud.
This year’s NAIDOC Week takes place from Sunday, 7 July to Sunday, 14 July. Musician Barkaa and father-daughter duo Troy and Jem Cassar-Daley lead the music program.
Barkaa will appear as a team captain alongside comedian Dave Woodhead on the Big Backyard Quiz. They’ll be joined by contestant panellists Tom Ballard, Ivan Aristeguieta, Tegan Higginbotham, and Nina Oyama.
The Big Backyard Quiz is executive produced by Anthony Watt (Spicks And Specks, Full Frontal) and Daniel Gallahar (NITV) and will be hosted by journalist, presenter and commentator Narelda Jacobs OAM and actor Steven Oliver. You can watch the special on Saturday, 13 July, at 7:30 pm AEST on SBS, NITV and SBS On Demand as the show delves into games about Australia through a Blak lens.
At 9 pm on Monday, 8 July, NITV and SBS On Demand will air Sydney Opera House Presents: Generations And Dynasties. Billed as an evening of music, storytelling and inspiration, country music star Troy Cassar-Daley and his daughter, indie-pop rising star Jem Cassar-Daley, will track the creative journey followed across generations.
Other highlights of this year’s NAIDOC Week celebrations include the National NAIDOC Week Awards Ceremony – headlined by Jessica Mauboy – on Saturday, 6 July, from 7:30 pm on ABC and NITV, Little J & Big Cuz (Weekdays from Monday 8 July at 6:05 pm on NITV, ABC and SBS On Demand), The Point: Road Trip (Weekly on Tuesdays at 7:30 pm from 9 July on NITV, and Friday, 12 July, at 2 pm on SBS), NAIDOC Week-themed episodes of The Cook Up, and more.
