Turns out Rod Stewart loves a Bunnings snag as much as the rest of us.
The music legend was spotted at Bunnings in Balgowlah, NSW yesterday after his Aussie tour wrapped on the weekend, marking his second appearance at the hardware store in recent weeks.
Unfortunately, he didn’t get the memo that the sausage sizzle is a weekend-only offering and left empty-handed, but not before posing for some photos in front of the D.I.Y. Information Centre.

Imagine minding your own business at the Bunnings self-checkout and spotting Rod Stewart looking for a snag…
“Road crew sent him out to pick up some gaffer tape apparently,” one Twitter user joked, also noting: “Rod Stewart spotted at Bunnings in Balgowlah feeling somewhat disappointed to hear that they only do snags in bread on the w/e.”
Speaking with 3AW last month, Stewart revealed he stopped by a Bunnings in Melbourne to pick up parts for his model railway.
“I love Bunnings. I found this particular angled wood that you can’t get in England so I’m trying to get it to England, but we haven’t found our way to do it yet,” he said.
The hobby also saw him pop into train store Woodpecker Model Railways in Sydney last week.
The British rocker’s Aussie tour alongside Cyndi Lauper wrapped in NSW on Sunday.
The Music reviewer Andy Hazel said of the singer’s Melbourne show: “As he throws up his arms and leaves the stage for a final time, there is the sense that, while Stewart might have inspired a lot of different feelings tonight, disappointment was never on the cards.”
