Few bands throw down live like US outfit Rise Against, and the punk rockers will bring insane energy back to Australia next year for a headline tour in support of their new album.
The band’s February return in support of Wolves will see them undertake their biggest headline shows in Australia to date, after supporting Foo Fighters on their stadium visit in 2015.
“In many ways, a Rise Against show is a safe space for our fans,” said vocalist Tim McIlrath.
“But I realised … I want to create dangerous spaces where misogyny can’t exist, where xenophobia can’t exist.

“I want to create spaces where those sentiments don’t have any air, and they suffocate: where those ideas die.”
The five-date headline run will also see support from SWMRS, which features Billie Joe Armstrong’s son, Joey, on drums. Their latest album, Drive North, was produced by FIDLAR legend Zac Carper.
Ticket pre-sale begins this Thursday, 13 Jul, at 12pm AEST, with general public going live on 17 Jul.
