Rex was set to perform two shows at Sydney's Hordern Pavilion on the 8th and 9th of September, followed by Adelaide Entertainment Centre Theatre on the 12th of September, before closing the tour at Margaret Court Arena in Melbourne for a pair of shows on the 14th and 15th of September.
The tour was set out to support his latest album WHO CARES? which released on the 11th of March, and would see him perform on Australian shores for the first time in over three years.
The album was mainly recorded in a 48-hour recording window with Benny Sings, who he wrote his 2017 platinum selling hit Loving Is Easy With. After the two day period, the following 10 days of work saw Rex put together his fourth album. The record features his most recent hit single alongside early champion, Tyler, The Creator titled OPEN A WINDOW.
