Last week, triple j set Ali Barter and Holy Holy's Oscar Dawson a challenge while they were in self isolation - to write a quarantine song in 24 hours.

In true Celeste Barber style the challenge was accepted, but now the song is being given a general release today with all proceeds going to Support Act's COVID-19 emergency appeal, the charity delivering crisis relief services to the music industry which needs it more than ever in current circumstances.

Called Four Days, it begins with the apt lyrics "It's been four days since we locked down/ Crazy virus going 'round town" and details their self isolation. It lists the struggles of being together and of such unexpected things you don't really think about until you're locked up with someone for a fortnight straight - like hiding one's IBS.

You can listen/buy the song here and check out the video below too. Find out more about Support Act and their work by clicking the banner below.

"4 Days" - An isolation love song

ICYMI- triple j asked Oscar and I to write a song in 24 hours, including the following elements presented by listeners: - a song about a couple on the rocks - IBS - an ASMR section - a screaming guitar solo - the words "standard sandwich" - masturbation to rhyme with isolation . Please enjoy. Hope you are staying safe ❤️
