Due to overwhelming demand, Australian metal band Parkway Drive have added extra dates to their upcoming national tour.
After shows sold out within an hour, Brisbane and Melbourne have received new concerts – the new shows take place on Wednesday, 18 September, at Brisbane Entertainment Centre and Tuesday, 24 September, at Melbourne’s John Cain Arena. Tickets to the new shows go on sale on Wednesday, 1 May, at 10 am local time.
If you’d like tickets earlier than that, Destroy All Lines has you covered with Early Bird pre-sale tickets on sale on Monday, 29 April, at 9 am local time. You can register for Early Bird tickets here and access general sale tickets here.
Sydney and Adelaide shows are on the final tickets. The Perth gig at HBF Stadium is also sold out, and Parkway Drive have advised their fans in the west to “stay tuned” for more information as it arrives.
Parkway Drive’s upcoming 20th-anniversary Australian tour is also an extra memorable affair thanks to its support acts, including Grammy-nominated Michigan alt-metal group I Prevail, Californian metal outfit The Ghost Inside, and Melbourne modern metal band Void Of Vision joining them at all shows.
“Australia, it’s been a while. To be honest, it feels like forever,” Parkway Drive vocalist Winston McCall said about the tour upon its initial announcement last month. “We didn’t plan it to be this way, but then again, we didn’t plan on making it this far in the first place.

“So here it is, we’re finally back, with the biggest headlining tour we have done, anywhere, ever, full stop. A celebration of a 20-year journey of the roads we have walked through, the generations, to the path we still define, our own. 20 years, through blood, sweat and tears. Still Australian, still unbreakable. Australia, turn the fuck up and make us proud, this is one for the history books.”
