All good things must end
Sydney indie rockers Papa Vs Pretty have announced their split this afternoon, bringing to an end a musical journey that began in their teens.
In a statement the band wrote, “After almost a decade of making music as Papa Vs Pretty we are sad to announce that all good things come to an end.
“It's been a privilege and a pleasure making music together and we'll continue to pursue our love of music and remain the best of friends. Thank you to everyone who has supported us along the way!”
Originally the solo project of frontman Thomas Rawle from his teenage years, Papa Vs Pretty released three EPs and two albums through EMI – 2011's United In Isolation and White Deer Park, which was released in February this year.
