Wow, just wow.
This year's inaugural Download Festival was huge and it looks like 2019 is actually going to top it!
The legendary Ozzy Osbourne leads the 2019 event line-up as part of his final ever worldwide tours. The Black Sabbath frontman will be joined by long-time collaborators Zakk Wylde (guitar), Blasko (bass), Tommy Clufetos (drums) and Adam Wakeman (keyboards) for his final Aussie appearances.
American thrash metal giants Slayer have also chosen Download for their last Aussie stint after announcing their final ever tour earlier this year.
Judas Priest, Alice In Chains, Ghost, Rise Against, The Amity Affliction and Anthrax will also be appearing at the festival, which in huge news will be making its way north to Sydney's Parramatta Park for the first time on Saturday 9 March, as well as keeping Melbourne's Flemington Racecourse as its home for a second year on Monday 11 March.
Halestorm, Behemoth, Me First & The Gimme Gimmes, Prevail, Converge, Frenzal Rhomb, Luca Brasi, Code Orange, Andy Black, The Fever 333, War On Women, High Tension, Outright, Ruins and Alien Weaponry round out the 2019 line-up so far, with the festival promising more acts are to be announced soon.
Tickets for the event go on sale at 9am on Wednesday, 26 September. Check out theGuide below for more info.
