Olivia Rodrigo kicked off her first-ever Australian tour last night at Rod Laver Arena in Melbourne, showcasing her hit-laden catalogue – only two albums in, to boot.
The first of four shows at Rod Laver Arena (ahead of another four shows at Sydney’s Qudos Bank Arena), the US pop star ran through her many hits – driver’s licence, vampire, good 4 u, and so many more – putting on a show that The Music’s Christopher Lewis described as an “emotionally turbulent dance party.” Later in the review, Lewis declared that Rodrigo was potentially “the complete package.”
If you don’t want to know more about Rodrigo’s setlist ahead of her remaining Australian tour dates, look away now, as we’re about to dig in.
Opening with her hit single, bad idea, right?, Rodrigo launched into beloved tracks from her latest album, GUTS, including ballad of a homeschooled girl, vampire, and love is embarrassing, while also working in SOUR tracks driver’s licence and traitor.
After performing some songs on the main stage, fans from the floor to the nosebleeds got to enjoy watching Rodrigo sing from the Moon Stage, where she sat and performed logical and enough for you.
Returning to the main stage, Rodrigo played tracks including jealousy, jealousy, déjà vu, brutal, obsessed, and all-american bitch before a rousing encore where she performed good 4 u and get him back! All up, Rodrigo played 23 songs. Check out the complete setlist below.
