Can the Perth lads hold off the might of Bowie and Bon Jovi?
Australia's Birds Of Tokyo will be fighting off the old guard to hold onto the top spot on the ARIA Album Chart this week, with new releases from David Bowie (The Next Day), Bon Jovi (What About Now), Bruce Springsteen (The Collection 1973-2012) and Jimi Hendrix (People, Hell & Angels).
According to mid-week chart figures, all four of the albums are tracking well with Bowie's comeback release looking the strongest challenge to the top spot.
Pink's The Truth About Love is yet again a chance at the top spot while the soundtrack to Dave Grohl's documentary Sound City – Real To Reel, is an outside chance of a top five.
The midweek figures are showing the usual faces at the top of the ARIA Singles Chart, with Pink and Nate Reuss' current number one Just Give Me A Reason holding off James Arthur's Impossible. Avicii vs. Nicky Romero's I Could Be The One and Rihanna featuring Mikky Ekko's Stay will likely round out the top four.
