Have you ever wanted to celebrate New Year’s in South Gippsland, a picturesque location in southeast Victoria, but didn’t know what to do with yourself?
NYE On The Hill has you covered, with its 10th-anniversary celebrations making for an extra special festival line-up spanning from Saturday, 30 December, until Monday, 1 January.
The festival’s upcoming event is headlined by Brisbane outfit Ball Park Music, who have enjoyed an incredible 15 months (so far) since releasing their seventh album, Weirder & Weirder, in May 2022. The album peaked at #2 on the ARIA Albums Chart, won Album Of The Year at the Queensland Music Awards, and the single Stars In My Eyes landed at #8 on the triple j Hottest 100 of 2022.
Ball Park Music are followed by Alex Lahey, Beddy Rays, and Perth alternative rockers DICE. From there, the line-up includes Gretta Ray, Hope D, The Vanns, Betty Taylor and many more, with additional acts and Hills DJs to be announced in due course.
As the website notes, tickets to NYE On The Hill are for three days of fun (two days of music), free camping and BYO alcohol, access to bars, field games, chill-out areas, morning yoga, art installations, and, of course, lots of food. You can check out the full line-up below.
Tickets go on sale on Thursday, 24 August, at 8 am AEST. You can sign up to the mailing list here for early access to tickets.
