Noel Gallagher has said it serves Matty Healy right regarding his apparent break up with Taylor Swift in a new interview with Rolling Stone.
Last week, multiple reports indicated that her non-confirmed, rumoured romantic relationship with The 1975 singer Matty Healy had come to an end.
“Taylor has obviously said, ‘Now look, keep your fucking nose out of that Gallagher business, or we are fucking through,’” Gallagher quipped, continuing his feud with The 1975’s vocalist after recently calling him a “slack-jawed fuckwit”, The 1975 “certainly not fucking rock” and “shit”.
He added, “And he couldn’t help it. And Swifty, God bless her, said, ‘I can’t deal with this shit because once he’s done with you, he is gonna come after me and I’m not fucking having it. So, I’m sorry, Matty, you gotta go.’… Serves him right!”
The “once he’s done with you” refers to the former Oasis member’s previous comments, which followed Matty Healy telling the Gallagher brothers to “grow up” and “get back together”.
Healy opened up the can of worms in an interview earlier this year. “Can you imagine being in potentially – right now, still – the coolest band in the world, and not doing it because you’re in a mard with your brother?” Healy said in an appearance on Q with Tom Power.

He continued, “There’s not one kid, not one person, going to a High Flying Birds gig or a Liam Gallagher gig that would not rather be at an Oasis gig.”
Gallagher, enraged by Healy’s commands, said he “needs to go over how shit his band is and split up.”
“Noel Gallagher called me a ‘slack-jawed fuckwit,’” Healy told The 1975’s audience at St Anne’s Park, Dublin, last Wednesday (7 June), finally acknowledging the recent commentary. “I love Noel Gallagher. We asked Liam to open up and he said he would have done it but he was busy. But I love Noel Gallagher, give it up for Noel Gallagher.”
“He’s just getting on … The difference between me and Noel is that I do a series of interviews to promote an album, whereas he does an album to promote a series of interviews. But we love you Noel, get Oasis back together!”
