"You can stop us using the songs, but you can’t erase our memories."

The battle of the Gallagher brothers continues in earnest, as Liam alleged that Noel is blocking Oasis songs from being used in Liam's upcoming documentary, Knebworth '22, which will play in cinemas from 17 November.

As reported by Spin, a fan on Twitter asked Liam if Oasis songs would appear in the documentary, to which he responded, "No oasis songs as the angry squirt has blocked them."

Worse still, Liam alleges that Noel is even preventing him from including his performance of Live Forever at the Taylor Hawkins tribute concert held at Wembley Stadium. "He also blocked the oasis I sang for Taylor Hawkins tribute he's a horrible little man," he wrote. In a separate Twitter thread, Liam said, "You can stop us using the songs but you can't erase our memories shame on you Noel Gallagher".

When another fan argued that Noel wrote the songs and therefore owned rights to them, Liam hit back by responding, "Your not wrong spongebob but fuck me not allowing your songs for Taylor Hawkins tribute that's low". Spin has reached out to a spokesperson for Noel for comment.

Liam Gallagher's return to Knebworth 26 years after the iconic Oasis concert saw him perform to 170,000 fans across two sold-out nights. He played 12 Oasis songs, including Wonderwall and Supersonic, alongside solo material and closed both shows with a rousing rendition of Champagne Supernova with Stone Roses guitarist John Squire. The concerts coincided with Liam's latest album, C'mon You Know.

Earlier this year, Liam stated his interest in an Oasis reunion and regretted the split. In an interview with The Times, he shared, "I'd love Oasis to get back together. If it happens, it happens. We should never have split up, but we did, and this is where we're at.

On their fallout in 2009, he added: "I thought we'd be the Stones, doing it until the day we died. We might have had a break, gone off and done our own thing, and then got back on it. For it to implode like that was disastrous. I went off the rails a bit when it happened, because it was the thing that glued my life together."

Last year, the Oasis Knebworth 1996 documentary and concert film hit cinemas and was released on Blu-Ray.
