"A live experience never to forget.”
The Superjesus’ Sarah McLeod will be one of the first acts to play at new Sunshine Coast venue Malt Shovel Taphouse.
Last week, it was revealed that the team behind beloved Gold Coast venue Nightquarter, Ian Van Der Woude and Michelle Christoe, are opening a brand new venue next month, and now Malt Shovel Taphouse has announced McLeod will perform there on November 14, following the October 12 opening party with performances from locals Dosed and Matty Rogers.
“We’re excited to have Sarah McLeod as the first act to play the ‘Tap’ room at Malt Shovel Taphouse,” venue owner Ian Van der Woude sad.
“She is a legend in the industry and this is going to be a live experience never to forget.”
McLeod will be joined on the night by Sunshine Coast artist Andrea Kirwin.

The news comes ahead of Nightquarter's relaunch, expected to open later this year, after it was confirmed the venue was also relocating to the Sunshine Coast due to Van Der Woude and Christoe being unable to reach an agreement with the Nightquarter landlord over a significant increase in rent.
