The band's first show at Sidney Myer Music Bowl tonight will go ahead.
New Order have announced that their second show in Melbourne on Sunday will not be going ahead.
Following Prime Minister Scott Morrison's announcement yesterday that Government will advise against mass gatherings of over 500 from Monday in a bid to stop the spread of coronavirus, the UK outfit have announced that while tonight's show at Sidney Myer Music Bowl will go ahead, Sunday's show at The Forum has been called off.
"It’s not a decision taken lightly and we do not cancel shows but these are exceptional times," New Order said in a statement.
"We apologise wholeheartedly to all our loyal fans who rushed out to buy tickets for The Forum show."
Refunds for The Forum show are available via point of purchase.
