Welsh pop-punk legends Neck Deep are returning to Australia this September, hitting the largest venues they’ve ever performed in down under. Sydney’s own Yours Truly will join them as special guests on all shows.
The tour commences on 5 September at The Forum in Melbourne before heading to Sydney’s Roundhouse, Brisbane’s The Tivoli, Adelaide’s Hindley St Music Hall and concludes at Metropolis Fremantle.
In an interview with Kill Your Stereo, which you’ll get to read soon, vocalist Ben Barlow revealed his trepidation around headlining a venue the size of the Roundhouse.
“It’s good to take the step up, especially after being away for so long,” Barlow said, “The fans out there still care [about Neck Deep] and know that we're still active. It’s great to know that we can get bigger off our merit of writing songs people like.
“I'm hoping – we’ll definitely have one more song out – by the time we come out to Australia. There'll be some new shit for people to get down to. It’s just good that we're not playing ten people, you know, we're coming back, and we're coming back strong.” Keep an eye out for their next song, which Barlow says is “about aliens, in a fun way”.
Tickets for Neck Deep’s upcoming Australian tour will be available via Live Nation. My Live Nation members can access pre-sale tickets tomorrow from 10 am until 9 am on Friday. General tickets go on sale on Friday, 21 July, at 10 am.

From Wishful Thinking (2014) to Life’s Not Out To Get You (2015) to where Neck Deep are today with the recently released singles, Heartbreak Of The Century and STFU, the Welsh four-piece are back to what they do best: making catchy pop-punk tunes.
After the release of last year’s Is This What I Look Like?, Yours Truly pared it right down on Is This What I Lofi?, an EP inspired by vocalist Mikaila Delgado’s childhood of gaming and a game called Coffee Talk that she played during lockdowns.
The last few years of Yours Truly – the incredible highs, devastating lows, and even a line-up change, have them primed for a completely fresh future. You can read Kill Your Stereo’s recent interview with Delgado here. Don’t miss out on their electrifying set.
