Three shows this March - the perfect cure for whatever ails you
Byron Bay Bluesfest alumni Nahko & Medicine For The People return to the annual event once more in 2016, this time complementing their planned festival performance with three headline sideshows along the east coast this March.
The venerated folk/hip hop/rock collective will bring their merry band of musical vagabonds to stages in Brisbane (Max Watt's House Of Music, Thursday 24 March), Melbourne (Corner Hotel, Sunday 27 March) and Sydney (Metro Theatre, Wednesday 30 March) around and after their festival slot, giving Aussie audiences three special opportunities to enjoy some intimate party time with ever-engaging frontman Nahko Bear and his capable crew of creatives.
The band's most recent album is 2013's Dark As Night — from which crowd-favourite tracks such as Manifesto II, Black As Night and Budding Trees are taken — though we can hold out hope that, amid the band's busy schedule of charitable and community initiatives, there's been time to craft some not-yet-heard goodness especially for their 2016 audiences.
If you're keen to find out one way or the other, tickets for Nahko & Medicine For The People's Bluesfest sideshows — proudly presented by The Music — go on sale from 9am (AEDT) this Thursday, 29 October, via Bluesfest Touring.
