Prog-metal powerhouse music festival Monolith returns to Melbourne, Sydney, and Brisbane this November with a line-up headlined by New York progressive rockers Coheed And Cambria.
In exciting news for the group’s fans, Coheed And Cambria will perform their untouchable 2005 LP, Good Apollo, I’m Burning Star IV, Volume One: From Fear Through Madness, in its entirety.
The band won’t just be performing at the festival; fans will also be treated to something unique: a Q&A panel with lead singer and guitarist Claudio Sanchez entitled Celebrating 20 Years Of The Amory Wars: The Past, Present, And Future.
Monolith festival organisers haven’t only announced the headliners, they’ve also locked in Washington djent lords Periphery, Norwegian progressive metal outfit Leprous, Canadian group Intervals, French metalcore/prog five-piece Novelists making their Australian debut, and multi-faceted Silver Fang from Melbourne wrapping up the line-up.
In addition to the Q&A panel with Sanchez, Monolith will host guitar and drum workshops with Periphery, Aussie metal guitarist Keyan and Melbourne metal drummer David Parkes.

Monolith Festival made its debut in August 2022. Attending the Brisbane event, Kill Your Stereo’s Sam Wolstenholme remarked of the day:
“Not even the dreary weather can stop Brisbane’s metal contingent from gathering at Eatons Hill Outdoors for what can only be described as the line-up of Australian progheads’ wildest dreams, with a few fun surprises thrown in for good measure.”
