"There are so many amazing Australian acts not being picked up by popular radio or the mainstream music media..."
Blues/roots/stoner rock festival Mojo Burning has announced a killer bill for its third year, taking place next March in Brisbane.
This year, you can catch Aussie independent acts like Mason Rack Band, Jackson Firebird, The Fumes and Hobo Magic, as well as the festival's first international act — Arizonian one-man band, Bob Log III.
Mojo Burning organiser, Christian Tryhorn, says, "There are so many amazing Australian acts not being picked up by popular radio or the mainstream music media, particularly in Blues, Roots and Rock genres. For years I've been watching these acts on stages all around Australia crush their sets and be equal if not more vibing than many more 'well known' acts receiving regular industry backing.
"We aim to pull together the Australian Blues, Roots and Rock scene through events such as this to help give bands a leg-up and are stoked with the 2016 Mojo Burning lineup. Not an average band on the bill."
