The four-date tour – with a Kiwi detour smack-bang in the middle of it – will mark their first time Down Under in four years.

Four long years after last their trip Down Under, Milky Chance have announced their Australian return with a four-date run scheduled for early next year.
The trek will begin in Boorloo/Perth on Friday January 26, when the German indie-rock quartet take to Metropolis. They’ll head to Meanjin/Brisbane next, playing The Tivoli on Sunday January 28, before swinging through to Tāmaki Makaurau/Auckland, New Zealand, for a pit-stop at the Powerstation on Wednesday January 31. Returning to Australia, they’ll play The Forum in Naarm/Melbourne on Friday February 2, and finally the Enmore Theatre in Eora/Sydney on Tuesday February 6.
As announced earlier this week, Milky Chance will also perform at next year’s Party In The Paddock festival in lutruwita/Tasmania, running from Thursday February 8 to Sunday 11 on the Liffey River. Before the tour kicks off, too, they’ll play Vintage Vibes in Kaurna/Adelaide.
Tickets for all five of the band’s headline shows go on sale at 11am AEDT this coming Monday (November 20), following a presale that kicks off at the same time tomorrow (November 17). Head here to sign up for the presale, or bookmark this link for the general sale.
The tour comes in support of Milky Chance’s fourth album, Living In A Haze, which arrived back in June and featured singles like the title track, Golden, Synchronize, Colorado, Purple Tiger and History Of Yesterday (featuring Charlotte Cardin).
