Meredith Music Festival is coming up fast – Friday, 8, Saturday, 9, and Sunday, 10 December, at the Meredith Supernatural Amphitheatre – and today reveals its full line-up.
Since sharing the news that German electronic music pioneers Kraftwerk were this year’s headliners last month, the festival has largely kept quiet until dropping the rest of the line-up today.
Kraftwerk will be joined by fellow headliner and pop music genius Caroline Polachek, with indie rockers and Keanu Reeves’ favourite band Alvvays and songwriter Alex G at the top of the line-up, but the rest of the announcement is stacked. Remember: Meredith hosts just one stage and zero clashes over three days.
Elsewhere on the line-up are UK punks Pigs Pigs Pigs Pigs Pigs Pigs Pigs (or Pigs x7), local electronic music icons Sneaky Sound System, Aussie punk rockers Cable Ties, Melbourne R&B outfit Telenova, Sydney rock band C.O.F.F.I.N., Bumpy and Miss Kaninna representing R&B and hip-hop, LA-based composer Mary Lattimore, and more. Plus, Meredith notes that a “handful more” artists will be added.
As with each year of the Meredith Music Festival, most of the tickets are sold via the festival’s Subscriber Ticket Ballot, which you can enter here. Tickets bought online or through the ballot will be delivered on the first week of November.

Last year’s Meredith, the festival’s 30th-anniversary edition, was led by electronic music act Caribou, NIMA Hall Of Famers Yothu Yindi, Courtney Barnett, Tkay Maidza, American singer Sharon Van Etten, the emergence of hyped-up UK post-punks Dry Cleaning and many more.
