Matt Okine's Stan comedy series, The Other Guy, is confirmed to air in the US and Canada later this year.
The streaming service this week announced that Entertainment One (eOne) has licensed the 6-episode show to Hulu in the US (from 28 June) and Canada's Super Channel (premiering on 13 August).
Filmed on location across Sydney, the series was written by Okine and fellow Aussie comic Becky Lucas and co-stars Valene Kane (The Fall, Rogue One: A Star Wars Story), along with a host of Australian talent including Harriet Dyer (No Activity, Love Child), Marg Downey (Fast Forward, Kath & Kim), Christiaan van Vuuren (Soul Mates, Bondi Hipsters) and hip hop artist Briggs.
"We are enormously proud of the show and delighted that our first foray into TV production has landed in the US and Canada," Executive Producer for The Other Guy, eOne's Jude Troy, said.
