The new album and tickets are available tomorrow
Beloved Canadian-American folk artist Martha Wainwright has dished up a sizeable Aussie tour for next March in support of her new album, Goodnight City, which drops tomorrow.
Already confirmed for the Twilight at Taronga and Melbourne Zoo Concert Series, Wainwright will now take her first new LP in four years around the country with 10 news dates, kicking off Perth and accompanied by a three-piece band consisting of drums, bass and piano.
Produced by Thomas Bartlett and Brad Albetta, Goodnight City gives another raw look into the life of Wainwright, carried by diverse, powerful vocals. It also includes songs penned by Beth Orton, Rufus Wainwright, Michael Ondaatje and Glen Hansard.
