Did You Catch Marilyn Manson On ‘American Gods’ Last Night?

Marilyn Manson has added another credit to his ever-expanding IMDB page.

The US rocker’s latest acting endeavour saw him assume the role of Johan Wengren in the season three premiere of Starz series American Gods, which hit Amazon Prime yesterday evening.

According to Deadline, who reported Manson’s casting in the series back in 2019, Wengren is the lead singer of Viking death metal band Blood Death, who are “a source of power for the Ian McShane-portrayed Mr Wednesday in his war with the New Gods”.

Manson’s brief appearance last night saw him performing on stage before being joined by McShane. It’s expected we’ll see more of Wengren in upcoming episodes.

Manson has previously starred on Sons Of Anarchy, Californication, Eastbound & Down and more.
