The free event will run over two days at start of November, with more acts to be announced over the next few weeks.

The lineup has arrived for this year’s Valley Fiesta, topped by the stellar talents of Mallrat, Hatchie and Mildlife.
The council-backed event will return to Meanjin/Brisbane’s Fortitude Valley precinct over the first weekend in November – Friday November 3 and Saturday 4 – with live music being held across three stages. DJs will also perform in the Bakery Lane and Winn Lane alleys, propped up with pop-up food offerings and special installations by local bars to form the ‘Hidden Lanes Bar Trail’.
Today’s (October 10) announcement revealed 14 live acts and 12 DJs, with more of each to be confirmed over the coming weeks. Among the other highlights in the live music program are sets from Skeleten, Miss Kaninna, First Beige and Party Dozen. Over on the Hidden Lanes Bar Trail, punters will be able to catch beats and bars from the likes of David Versace, Eljae, Greer, Hol Hibbo, Jake Amy, Jimmy Ellis and Kodos.
Last year’s Valley Fiesta hosted some 115 events between 24 venues. At the time, Adrian Schrinner – Brisbane’s Lord Mayor – said in a press statement: “Beyond the music, Valley Fiesta embraces our city’s creative spirit and invites visitors and residents to explore the rich history of Brisbane’s music and arts scene, while discovering new talent along the way.”
