"They said, ‘Do you wanna come in the jungle?’ I said, ‘Listen mate, I’m already in the fucking jungle.'"
Whoever asked the question has guts, but they should not have expected any different.
In a forthcoming interview with MOJO Magazine (via Radio X) Liam Gallagher revealed that he was asked to appear on reality TV series I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here! in 2014... and the answer was par for the course for the Oasis legend.
"They said, ‘Do you wanna come in the jungle?’ I said, ‘Listen mate, I’m already in the fucking jungle. Are you taking the fucking piss? My band’s just broken up, fucking our kid don’t speak to me, the missus has fucking left, I’ve got another fucking kid on the way – this is the fucking jungle," he said.
"Fucking shitty little TV fucking show.”
Gallagher says he was also asked to appear on ballroom and dance series, Strictly Come Dancing.
”I don’t know about that," the 47-year-old singer said.

"The hips aren’t what they used to be. Maybe I’m just blagging it and a fucking proper little flamenco dude is trying to get out.”
Gallagher's comments come after what has been an eventful Australian tour this month, which included the frontman's Melbourne show being cut off during the final song due to the venue's sound curfew.
Gallagher's tour wraps up in Fremantle tonight. For more details, click on theGuide.
