This year’s edition of Savannah In The Round has grown even larger, with Lee Kernaghan, Sheppard and Max Jackson using the opportunity at Savannah Sounds On The Reef yesterday (27 April) to announce that they’d return to the Cairns Hinterland region this October.
As well as the acts listed above, Savannah In The Round has locked in some of Australia’s favourite country artists, including Darlinghurst, Australian Idol runner-up Denvah, Caitlyn Shadbolt, Melanie Dyer, Lane Pittman, indie pop band Joan & The Giants, Jeremy Fletcher, and more. They join a line-up headlined by The Living End, Hoodoo Gurus, Kip Moore, and Jon Stevens. You can view the complete Savannah In The Round 2024 line-up below.
Sheppard said after performing on the Great Barrier Reef yesterday, “It was an unbelievable privilege to perform for these legends today. And at Moore Reef, the jewel in the crown of the Great Barrier Reef, no less!”
Kernaghan added, “It’s a real privilege to meet and sing a few songs for some amazing local heroes at Savannah Sounds on the Reef. And coming back to beautiful North Queensland for the incredible Savannah in the Round Festival in October will be a highlight of the year!”
More ticketing details for this year’s festival are on the Savannah In The Round website.

Lee Kernaghan, Sheppard, Max Jackson, and Kairos Kin led the new, exclusive tropical North Queensland event, Savannah Sounds On The Reef.
The intimate and exclusive concert saw them perform a floating gig on the Great Barrier Reef to support recovery efforts following Cyclone Jasper. The event acted with two goals: to raise awareness for the Savannah In The Round music festival and to celebrate community heroes on the Great Barrier Reef.
