After frontman Paul Klein recently suffered a serious road accident and postponed their upcoming tour, LANY have announced promised rescheduled Australian and New Zealand tour dates, confirming their return for later this year.
LANY were due to begin their tour at Brisbane’s Fortitude Music Hall tomorrow (19 June), followed by massive dates in Perth (HBF Stadium), Adelaide (Hindley Street Music Hall), Sydney (Hordern Pavilion), Melbourne (Margaret Court Arena), and Auckland (Auckland Town Hall).
The band have been touring in support of their latest album, a beautiful blur, which peaked at #4 on the ARIA Albums Chart.

The rescheduled dates will begin on Tuesday, 17 September, at Perth’s HBF Stadium before continuing at Auckland’s Town Hall (Wednesday, 30 October), Melbourne’s Margaret Court Arena (Friday, 1 November), Adelaide’s Hindley Street Music Hall (Sunday, 3 November), Sydney’s Hordern Pavilion (Wednesday, 6 November), and wraps up at Brisbane’s Fortitude Music Hall on Friday, 8 November. Yumi Zouma will open on all dates, excluding Perth.

Last week, Klein revealed that he was hit by a car while riding a Vespa and ended up transported to the hospital on a stretcher inside an ambulance. He now needs time to focus on recovery and stated that he feels “fortunate” to be alive.
LANY last toured Australia in May 2022 with special guest Sasha Alex Sloan. Catching them at Margaret Court Arena, The Music reviewer Michael Prebeg wrote:
“Klein demonstrates incredible showmanship and strong stage presence by running laps and even diving into the mosh pit at one point before making his way through to the lower seated area to sing amongst the excited crowd stage left.”
