The summer calendar favourite returns in February.
St Jerome's Laneway Festival has announced the first two acts on the bill for next year's run of events, returning across the country in February.
Laneway alum Mac DeMarco and first-timers Anderson .Paak & The Free Nationals are the artists leading the charge, as revealed this morning on triple j. DeMarco previously featured on the festival's 2015 line-up, along with his dear old mum, Agnes, who served as that year's MC.
Meanwhile, .Paak will be making his Laneway debut along with his band, The Free Nationals — who are set to release their debut full-length this year — marking the Am I Wrong hitmaker's first shows in the country since the release of his lauded second solo album, Malibu.
The festival has also confirmed its dates for next year, with 2018's run kicking off in Adelaide on Friday 2 February, heading to Melbourne on 3 February, Sydney on 4 February, Brisbane on Saturday 10 February and Fremantle on 11 February.
