Lana Del Rey Dismisses Christian Influencer’s Witchcraft Allegations

Lana Del Rey has responded to Christian influencer Traci Coston on social media after said influencer accused her of performing witchcraft.

Last month, Coston uploaded a video entitled “Demonic Energy Knocks Over Lana Del Rey Crowd”, in which she states that “This is not normal” after fans fell over at a Lana Del Rey concert.

Getting into her knowledge of demonology, Coston said, “Whatever witchcraft Lana Del Rey is doing, the spell she’s putting on her music to make it attractive, those demons are being invited into the crowd and into you when you attend.”

While Coston now has comments turned off for the video, she wasn’t quick enough to stop Del Rey – replying via her @honeymoon account – from writing a response. Del Rey, a former church singer, wrote, via Stereogum, “B!tch I know the Bible verse for verse better than you do. PS you’re giving off super gremlin energy. Not in a good way.”

In July, Lana Del Rey was seen working at a Waffle House in Alabama, donning a waitress uniform and serving customers coffee and food. A fan commented, “Lana Del Rey serving me eggs, coffee, and sausage would be the highlight of my life”. The singer was also spotted in a nail salon in the city of Birmingham and walking through downtown Florence.

Her ninth album, Did You Know That There’s A Tunnel Under Ocean Blvd, debuted at #1 on the ARIA Albums and Vinyl Chart in March, giving Del Rey her fifth #1 album in Australia.

In the UK, she scored her sixth #1, beating Depeche Mode with their latest album, Memento Mori, and tied with Radiohead, Blur and Arctic Monkeys on the list of artists with the most UK #1 albums.
