L7 Postpone Aussie Tour Due To Family Health Emergency

Stalwart US rockers have announced that they have had to postpone their planned tour of Australia by "a few more months" following the announcement of a "private, non-trivial" family health emergency.

The band broke the news on Facebook, explaining that they would be postponing their scheduled tour of the United States as well as their Australian sojourn (for which tickets were supposed to go on sale today), despite their best intentions.

"Although some of the shows were just very recently announced, LIFE HAPPENS and when it does you have to step up and take care of business for the ones you love," the band wrote. 

L7 went to lengths to clarify this would only be a postponement of the tour, however. "We plan to see you in 2016, just a few more months down the line," the band wrote.

"In the meantime, stay tuned here. We will continue to post fun stuff and read your beautiful and sometimes hilarious comments. Thanks for your understanding! With much love and appreciation, L Fuckin' 7."
