L-FRESH The LION Drops New Music Video For 'Village Boy'

Aussie hip hop artist L-FRESH The LION has today released the music video for his single, Village Boy.

Filmed in the Punjab village of Bhagwanpur - which is home to farmers whose livelihoods depend on the produce of the village - the new video celebrates communities of farmers and their children. Check it out below.

“Village Boy is one of my favourites from the SOUTH WEST record," FRESH said.

"I wanted to draw some parallels between the village life that shaped my parents and the values I learnt growing up in Western Sydney.

"With the video, I wanted to create something that would make people feel the same joy and love I have for Punjab.“

The South West Sydney rapper has also announced the launch of Village Boy Entertainment -  "a creative facilitation company that works directly with artists and music industry professionals to bring the best teams together for each project" that specialises in artist development &  production, music and event curation and creative career business mentoring.

Moving forward, Village Boy will be the home for new music from FRESH, as well as other artists from across Western Sydney and India.
