L-FRESH The LION & Barkaa Team Up For Special Gig

Barkaa and L-FRESH The LION have today announced they'll be performing together at Parramatta's Riverside Theatres on the 8th of April.

The show is a part of NSW Government initiative Great Southern Nights, which features hundreds of COVID-safe performances at live music venues across greater Sydney and regional New South Wales across March and April.

The concert series aims to stimulate the revival of the State's live music, entertainment and hospitality sectors.

Born and raised in South West Sydney, L-FRESH The LION is one of Australia’s most important and unique hip hop artists. Most recently, despite a COVID impacted 2020, he released his third studio album South West which celebrates his hometown, through themes of empowerment and sounds representative of the area that raised him. 

Barkaa is similarly a revolutionary Australian hip hop artist. Last year she released her acclaimed debut EP, Blak Matriarchy, which is a testament to powerful Blak women, crafting an embodiment of the value and strength of Matriarchal women paving the way for others.
