A Festival Called PANAMA founders Holy Holy’s Tim Carroll and Dan Rooke have unveiled the impressive line-up for the 2024 edition of the festival with King Stingray, The Beths and Kaiit spearheading the event.
The three-day celebration of music and community will take over the Lone Star Valley in North-East Tasmania/lutruwita on 8, 9 and 10 March 2024.
The festival houses 1,500 attendees to “camp under the stars and witness some of the best acts you never knew you loved,” a festival statement reads. “From humble beginnings in 2014, PANAMA has retained its intimacy while delivering world-class line-ups. We’ve shared countless stories, ideas, and dancefloor moments along the way.”
As well as the headliners, King Stingray, and other top-billed artists – The Beths and Kaiit – PANAMA 2024 has booked Jen Cloher with T’HONI, Emily Wurramurra, Folk Bitch Trio, Elsy Wameyo, Full Flower Moon Band, Gut Health, and many more. You can check out the entire line-up below.
To secure tickets, you need to try your luck at the PANAMA ballot, which you can apply for here. Children under four can attend the festival for free, while discounts apply for punters between the ages of five and 11 and 12 and 17 years old.

Next year’s event follows a tragedy that unfolded at this year’s festival, which saw a man in his forties found dead in the toilets, with emergency services and forensic officers called to the Lone Star Valley property at around 5:30 pm on Saturday.
Festival staff addressed the crowd soon after the incident, urging them not to take recreational drugs.
“We don't know whether drugs were involved, but we want to put your safety first, so this announcement is just to say don't take any recreational drugs. It's not safe to do so. If you have, find a sober friend and check in with each other. Be safe out there.”
The 2023 event hosted the likes of Sampa The Great, Confidence Man, Tasman Keith and many more.
