"He is one of the most exciting and authentic new voices in music."
The 2019 ARIA Awards ceremony continues to grow, with news dropping today that American singer-songwriter and "global superstar" Khalid will perform at the event.
Following a huge ARIA Week program reveal last month, it’s been confirmed the US singer will perform at the ceremony, set to take place in Sydney on 27 November.
Khalid is the third international guest announced to perform at the awards, with Halsey and Dua Lipa announced previously, shortly after Guy Sebastian was locked down to host the event. The Aussie artists performing were revealed last week.
“What a thrill to have global superstar Khalid as one of our performers at the 2019 ARIA Awards," ARIA Chief Executive Dan Rosen said.
"He is one of the most exciting and authentic new voices in music, with fans all around the world and Australia. We all look forward to seeing him bring his unique brand of music and energy to the ARIAs on November 27.”
