Justin Bieber has announced that the remaining dates of his JUSTICE WORLD TOUR are being postponed. The postponement includes his scheduled tour of Australia and New Zealand in November.
The postponement is the latest in a string of battles for this Bieber tour which was originally slated to begin in 2020 before being postponed due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The international megastar did manage to get the tour underway in February this year, making stops in ten countries across three continents, before having three unplanned breaks, the first of which was caused by the worsening of his Ramsay Hunt disorder in June, the second break was taken to focus further his health in September and the third break was announced on September 15 due to continued health issues. With all of this in mind, the announcement of the postponement of the remaining dates until 2023 is hardly unexpected. Promoters have confirmed that all tickets will remain valid for the as-yet-unknown new dates.
Australian promoter Frontier Touring has announced that ticketholders wishing to receive a refund are able to do so through their show's authorised ticketing agent.
Speaking about his health issues in September, Bieber reflected "Earlier this year, I went public about my battle with Ramsay-Hunt Syndrome, where my face was partially paralyzed. "As the result of this illness, I was not able to complete the North American leg of the Justice Tour,” he continued. “After resting and consulting with my doctors, family and team, I went to Europe in an effort to continue with the tour. I performed six live shows, but it took a real toll on me. After getting off the stage, exhaustion overtook me, and I realized that I need to make my health the priority right now. So I’m going to take a break from touring for the time being. I’m going to be ok, but I need time to rest and get better, I’ve been so proud to bring this show and our message of Justice to the world. Thank you for your prayers and support throughout all of this! I love you all passionately!”
