Jesswar Announces New Mixtape Alongside New Single, 'Fell In Love'

Fijian-Australian, Yugambeh/Kombumerri-based artist Jesswar has today announced their debut mixtape LIFE'S SHORT, LIVE BIG will land on the 23rd of September. Alongside the good news, they've released their new single and video FELL IN LOVE.
Breaking onto Australia's hip-hop and landscape in 2017, Jesswar has cemented their musical legacy as a blended powerhouse, one that weaves lyrics prowess and confidence with a fusion of pop sensibilities and bass heavy hip-hop production.
Their latest effort follows the Rihanna inspired and Erica Banks featuring BAD LIKE RIRI, as well as their groundbreaking call-to-arms debut EP Tropixx. Now they turn to FELL IN LOVE, which ushers in a new era of creative excellence.
It features a silky slick backdrop of polished guitar licks and bouncy rap drums, which combine perfectly with a smooth, velvety pair of verses and hook from Jesswar.
“I feel super recharged lately and I’m coming into a new side of myself that feels free and at peace,” Jesswar shares.
“Making ‘FELL IN LOVE’ is symbolic for me, not only personally but creatively it gave me room to be gentle and blissful. This is a new path in my journey and I’m ready to be completely submerged in it.”
