Grammy Award-winner and Rock & Roll Hall of Famer James Taylor is heading down under for a nine-show tour. An Evening With James Taylor and His All-Star Band will also perform at A Day On The Green with special guests Josh Pyke and Ella Hooper at Sirromet Wines Mount Cotton (QLD), Bimbadgen Hunter Valley (NSW) and Centennial Vineyards Bowral (NSW).
Pre-sale will commence on Wednesday, December 6, and general public tickets will go on sale here on Friday, December 8. Tickets for A Day On The Green will also go on sale here on December 8 at 10 am.
Starting in April, James Taylor and his all-star band will perform in large outdoor arenas, with his signature baritone and almost 50-year discography sure to bring a crowd.
It will be the first time in seven years that the Boston-born artist performs in Australia, with his last 2017 show featuring Bernard Fanning and Kasey Chambers for a single show at Sirromet Wines in Queensland.
Taylor released his 19th studio album, American Standard, in 2021 and has impressively had a Billboard Top 10 album in the past six decades, in addition to his Grammy Award for Best Traditional Pop Vocal Album.
His songs, such as Fire And Rain, Country Road, Sweet Baby James, and Carolina In My Mind, have profoundly influenced songwriters and music lovers of all generations. In 1971, he scored his first number-one single with You’ve Got A Friend, written by Carole King, earning him his first Grammy Award for Best Male Pop Vocal.

Over the course of his celebrated songwriting and performing career, James Taylor has sold more than 100 million albums, earning gold, platinum and multi-platinum awards since the release of his self-titled debut album in 1968. In 2015, Taylor released Before This World, the first-ever number-one album of his illustrious career.
