The icons join forces once again this July
Two legends of Australian music will once again team up for a joint run around the country this year as James Reyne and Mark Seymour have announced their co-headline And The Rest Is History tour.
The Australian Crawl and Hunters & Collectors mainstays (as well as accomplished solo musicians) will once again revisit the live pairing that first took form on a 90-date tour back in 2007 from Friday 29 July, when the duo kick off at Palms At Crown, Melbourne.
From there, the veteran musos will hit up stages in Thirroul (Anita's Theatre, Thursday 4 August), Penrith (Panthers, 5 August), Sydney (Metro, 6 August), Tweed Heads (Twin Towns, 12 August), Hobart (Wrest Point, 19 August), Launceston (Country Club, 20 August), Adelaide (The Gov, 26 August), Perth (The Charles Hotel, Friday 2 September), Castle Hill (Castle Hill Tavern, 9 September), Wentworthville (Wenty Leagues Club, 10 September) and Brisbane, where they close out the epic undertaking at The Triffid on Friday 16 September.
"I'm really looking forward to it," Seymour said of the impending run of shows in a statement. "It was huge last time.

"Apart from all the songs, the crowd singing and the big band at the end, James Reyne is a very funny man… not many people know that."
Echoed Reyne: "I thoroughly enjoyed the last time we toured together and it worked a treat. Dare I say it, but there's a fair cache of songs to play and enjoy as well. Mark's a lovely, talented guy, so come join the fun."
Tickets for Mark Seymour & James Reyne's And The Rest Is History Tour are on sale now through a variety of outlets.
