More James Morrison (UK) More James Morrison (UK)

UK artist James Morrison is returning to Australia next month in celebration of his new album, You’re Stronger Than You Know.

The talent behind hits such as You Give Me Something, Wonderful World and Broken StringsMorrison dropped his fifth studio LP back in March and will perform throughout Australia in support.

Ahead of the tour, we take a look back at Morrison's career and the key collaborations from along the way.

Nelly Furtado

Morrison's second album Songs For You, Truths For Me brought with it this collab with Nelly Furtado herself. Two years on from Furtado's Maneater and nearly 10 on from I'm Like A Bird, this 2008 track highlighted same impressive singing chops from each of them.

Jessie J

"Up was the first song I'd ever recorded that I hadn't written and it was such a big deal to do that," Jessie J told the Daily Star. "When James sent me the demo, I just couldn't get the song out of my head. So when I went to the studio I wanted it to be perfect for him because I knew how personal Up's lyrics were to him." She certainly did just that.

Jason Mraz

Two years on from Morrison's breakthrough album Undiscovered, he took part in Jason Mraz's. Their collab Details In The Fabric appeared on Mraz's 2008 We Sing. We Dance. We Steal Things and while they didn't make an official video, some smart punter caught this live version live at the Palms Casino in Las Vegas in 2009.

Joss Stone

Morrison's most recent high profile collab features the distinctive voice of one Joss Stone. One of You’re Stronger Than You Know stand-outs, the track sees the two powerhouses unite for this super catchy track. "I always love working with people, especially when they have a wicked voice like Joss," said Morrison of the track. "She’s from the same musical heritage as me. I'm excited to celebrate soul music with another artist who is recognised for soul."
